I feel like I've always had this fascination with monsters? But not, like, gory grim pointless unknowable lovecraftian monsters. Just monsters and creepy things that make you feel unsettled or awed in a way that isn't pure fluff. I really like vampires but it's not just them. One of my favorite recent tumblr memes has been that being a cryptid thing and it just felt like "yes, that is what I want."

I have a monsters tag over there that catalogues a lot of this. If I ever wrote original fiction (lol I never will) I'd love for it to be about a monster but that is literally all I know.
