Hello and welcome to my letter. This journal is almost entirely dedicated to my Dear Author letters, and if you would like to see my interests and how they have evolved or remained the same over time, you're free to browse. I've had a string of bad luck with being able to participate in exchanges as much this year as I have in years gone by, but I LOVE NPT because I find that a lot of my interests fit within its popularity range.
For some fandoms, I've chosen nearly every relationship available. Others I've only chosen one or two. Therefore, you shouldn't let the length of prompts available make you think that I want one fandom more than the others; it's just a matter of which relationships I was certain I'd be enthusiastic about receiving fic for from among the available tags.
Some general things about ratings, then DNWs (dislikes), then likes will follow. After that, I'll do some fandom / tag-specific prompts.
Ratings: Any rating from G to E is fine with me unless otherwise noted for a particular fandom or relationship. I like Gen and (Found) Family fic a lot, but I am happy to receive intensely shippy fic, too. I prefer that any smut I receive have the faintest spritz of a plot or at least a context.

I have read parts of the VN but haven't finished it entirely. My main point of contact with the series has been through the anime and the UBW anime in particular. I love all of it, but UBW is my favorite of the canon routes. You are welcome to use any and all sources of inspiration, though! I tend to spell Saber's given name "Artoria," but you can spell it any way you like that makes sense. "Altria" kinda drives me nuts, though.
Arturia Pendragon | Saber/Emiya Shirou/Tohsaka Rin/Heoric Spirit EMIYA | Archer
I would love to have a fic about the four of them settling into a found family dynamic. I am thrilled to have it be as shippy as you can stand, but I am most interested in each of them having a place to belong where they don't lose everything or something so incredibly important as one of the others. I know that Shirou and Archer don't get along very well, but to me that isn't insurmountable and could be a source of comedy. You could do a canon-divergent AU where things worked out within the Holy Grail War itself for them to stay together, or it could be something where they got the band back together and were actually able to play for keeps some years down the road.
Emiya Shirou & Illyasviel von Einzbern
After having binged HF content out of dread that it was going to be worse than I imagined, I found myself even more upset that Illya and Shirou don't really get the opportunity to bond as siblings. I don't like the loli persona that Illya carries on with, but one thing I find interesting about her character is that through aging slowly she as sort of adopted that as a strategy it would seem, more than that it is something that is especially sincere. I would like to have a fic where they actually did get to remain together and bond as found and adopted family. I would like Shirou to get to be the semi-paternal semi-fraternal influence on her that he wanted to be. I would like to see her get to be the "big sister" in a way that wasn't complete self-sacrifice, too.
Emiya Shirou & Matou Sakura
I don't particularly ship these two. Instead, I am saddened by the fact that in the first two routes their friendship gets pushed aside by the events of the Holy Grail War without a great indication as to what is going to happen to Sakura ultimately. I would love a fic that allows them to reunite either during or after the HGW in order to continue being a good influence on each other. I realize that there is some infatuation involved there, but that in itself doesn't have to be a friendship-breaker. You could explore that, or you could simply explore how Shirou accepting Sakura does not necessarily have to mean an unhealthy and self-destructive romance. I just want Sakura to be okay, and if that means an intervention from Shirou (and anyone else) then I'd love to see that happen.
Emiya Shirou/Tohsaka Rin
I would love anything you could do with these two. You can use any route as inspiration or you can do your own thing. It could be the immediate aftermath of the Holy Grail War, some of their time at Clock Tower, Rin saving Shirou from stupid self destruction, or Shirou being a really clueless addition to Rin's life plan. I really have few limits about where you could go with this as long as it ends pretty happily! I love how they are so different from each other but seem tied together by a red string of fate sort of situation. You are free to recognize that Archer and Shirou are different facets of each other or you can focus on Shirou's present personality alone - either works for me.
Heroic Spirit EMIYA | Archer/Arturia Pendragon | Saber
This is an oddly rare twosome pairing, and I would love to read a fic that explored something like this actually happening. One scene from the UBW anime that spring to mind is just after the scene in the school when they are regrouping outside after a close call with Rider. I thought the way Rin gently chided Archer for "teasing" Saber was sweet, and it is very interesting because it implies multitudes that aren't really spoken about his background with his own experience with Saber that she has no recollection of. The same thing is brought up again before Archer and Rin go to try and rescue Saber from Caster. Archer is always "rooting for" Saber, but he also fundamentally resents her ideals, even and maybe especially where he agrees with them. He sees the influence she had on his own psyche and both loves and hates her for it, maybe. He has an intimate knowledge of her, in a way, that she lacks of him, and I find that interesting. I would love to see her learning more and responding in some way.
Heroic Spirit EMIYA | Archer/Tohsaka Rin
I would love anything from just silly banter and UST to a full-on romantic epic. Stuff that falls in-between would work, too. I find the reason that Rin was able to summon Archer heartbreaking and beautiful, and I'm sort of obsessed with the red string of fate aspect to it. Given that Rin is 17 or so, I also have dubious feelings about the age gap thing, but I feel like he's a ghost and he also probably had a history with his own Rin when they were peers. It's complicated, and I'd almost rather it be acknowledged that it is complicated than that it be ignored. A fic dealing with both their ambivalence and their obvious quiet passion about each other would be pleasing to me. You may include the fact that Archer and Shirou are different aspects of the same soul, or you may focus on Archer's present persona alone - either works for me.
Illyasviel von Einzbern & Matou Sakura
I find the tension and odd rivalry between them totally fascinating. Truth be told, if Illya gets to age to a point where I felt it was appropriate, I would want to ship them in a way. If you want to age Illya up by ten years (5 apparent?) then you can write ship fic between them if you want to. Otherwise, I would be very happy with a gen fic focusing on that rivalry and how they are similar and similarly doomed to a fate that neither of them asked for. I would love for them to be able to sort of vent their resentment for their lots in life off each other, and it would be nice and inspiring if something kind of angsty turned into something more positive. I would love to see them learning to fight fate through each other or even fight it together. Grail Girls against the world? If you don't want to age Illya up as mentioned above (which I'm not explicitly requesting just saying I'd be okay with it), then Sakura taking on a big sisterly and nurturing role would be fine, but please don't weird mix the two.
Fate/Zero
See the note for FSN. I've read the English translation of the LN that exists and I've seen the anime. I am broadly familiar with the Type Moon universe and welcome any sources of inspiration you might have. I typically spell Saber's given name "Artoria."
Arturia Pendragon | Saber/Diarmuid Ua Duibhne | Lancer
I enjoy how Artoria was at least initially dazzled by the "love spot" that Diarmuid has but was ultimately able to use her magic resistance against it to see beyond it. Nevertheless, they seem attracted to each other on a personal level. There was something so much like light through the darkness with Diarmuid and Artoria seemed to relish in the moments when they were able to help and protect each other, to be on the same side even though they knew those moments were fleeting. I know that for both of them there is a theme running through their time in Zero about resisting repetition of the past. Added in with Lancelot's frustration with Artoria's indifference to his own running away, abdication of responsibility, and so on, it would be interesting to read a fic about Saber and Lancer somehow running away together - or at least considering it. I would be interested to know how that might happen and what its effects may be. Otherwise, just a stolen moment, or a reunification in the afterlife or whatever you like!
Arturia Pendragon | Saber/Gilgamesh | Archer
I am a sucker for GilSaber content that involves Gilgamesh being taken down off his creepy high horse about it. Despite the fact that it is obvious that his attraction to her is rather unhealthy, it does seem sincere, and I enjoy explorations of that. I also like the fact that Artoria might be given the opportunity to be a bit more selfish than she usually allows herself to be were she to ally herself with Gilgamesh by impulsive choice or out of necessity. Whether it is in an AU during the war or after it or whatever you like, I would be interested in a fic where Artoria bends and Gilgamesh breaks as it were. Dark is great but I prefer that it not be even more tragic than Zero already is.
Emiya Kiritsugu/Irisviel von Einzbern
I'm not gonna lie to you: sometimes I absolutely despise Kiritsugu for how he perpetuated his own hypocrisy after the events of Zero. He's easy to hate. And yet, it's hard to hate him completely when one considers how young he was when he entered into his "agreement" with the Einzberns and therefore his "marriage" with Iri. It is also hard to hate him when you see how hard he tried to make that something more than a transactional relationship even though he knew it would burn. I love Irisviel and consider he the least complicit character in Zero. The fact that these two are bound together in marriage and alliance is fascinating and terrible. I kind of love arranged marriage situations resulting in genuine lovers, and I would love anything about the ceremony of it, the awkwardness, the growth of intimacy - before canon - or anything you would want to do during canon.
Illyasviel von Einzbern & Emiya Kiritsugu
I did love the fact that at some point Kiritsugu tried hard enough to be a good father that Illya later missed what she had lost. I would love any other missing scenes from before the War. I would also like any AU you would like to write about Kiritsugu effectively pulling strings to get Illya back. That could be a sort of action-adventure thing if that's up your alley. If you go that route, you could also see my Shirou & Illya prompt above if that floats your boat. If Illya is a little older, it would be cool to see her coming into her own being a tiny little magecraft powerhouse.
Illyasviel von Einzbern & Irisviel von Einzbern
I would love anything pre-canon about their relationship. It is obviously that Irisviel loves her daughter, but we didn't get as much proof of that on-screen simply because it seemed obvious. There is also the air of formality around the Einzbern castle that makes me think that Irisviel might have had a lot of help from the other homonculi in raising Illya, much like royal families make use if nannies, etc. I would like to know what their quiet moments were like. I also find it kind of creepy but fascinating that Irisviel was created a blank slate but was able to very quickly catch up to a young woman's level of conscious expression. However, she does still seem very naive to the point that it feels almost like a teenager having a baby even though she is physically probably ~20. Young, frightened or naive motherhood is a theme I'd be interested in.
Arrow
I am most-familiar with the earlier seasons of Arrow, though I'm generally familiar with the events up to the present. This is partly due to the fact that canon took some directions that I wasn't a big fan of, but I love other aspects of what it did. The main thing is that I keep rewatching the early stuff with the intent to keep going but I just love the early stuff so much for better and worse. I'll never be over the fact that Earth-1 Laurel died as she did. Bitter forever.
Laurel Lance/Tommy Merlyn
As stated above, I'm extremely bitter about Laurel's death. I was also deeply saddened by Tommy's, though at the time it felt like it fit within the plot and didn't seem cheap or to get him out of the way in particular. I would love to read a missing scene during their dating during S1. I would also like a fic that created an AU where Tommy survived either with Laurel and Oliver's knowledge or with a big reveal at some point later down the line in canon in comic book media fashion. I would like a fic where Laurel does eventually get to be Black Canary and doesn't get killed for it. Maybe even one where she and Tommy got to be superheroes together or one where she gets to be the one protecting her gentleman in distress. I like pretty much all the other main cast and any of them are welcome to play a role, or it can just be about these two.
Sara Lance & Oliver Queen
The sparse few scenes they have together after their sad second relationship fell apart in S2 have been very interesting to me, but I have never been given enough of their present dynamic for my liking. When they interact in crossover stuff, I really like the vibe that they really understand each other on a fundamental level even though they have both moved on with their lives. People with a complicated relationship being supportive and loving friends to each other is really important, and I'd just like to see more of that in action either during superhero activities or just during a home visit.
Portal
I've been strangely invested in Portal for a long time. I'm glad to see that there are other people who are too.
Chell & Doug Rattmann
They are allies who never met, and Chell is an unwitting and unwilling Chosen One at Doug's behest. Both of those dynamics are fascinating to me, and I would like seeing either of them explored. I would be interested to know how you think Chell feels about the fact that he both provided guidance to her and sort of doomed her to dealing with things for him just because she was the only one who could. If you did have them meet, that would be awesome, but I would also be interested in any kind of log/graffiti transcription fic you might like to do.
Chell/Wheatley or Chell & Wheatley
I cannot remember exactly when I started sort of shipping it, but I have for years more intensely than I have any right to - and that was all before I read the fic "Blue Sky." I love that fic, so any references to it in your fic are A-okay with me, though I don't require them by any means.
If you go the purely platonic route, then this would be ideal for a fic where Wheatley simply as an AI construct who lives inside that ball. If you go the shippy fic route, I would like for there to be some humanoid aspect to him, even if it isn't a perfect and android and whether he was "originally" a human or whether it is a sort of Pinocchio becomes a real boy type of situation.
I would love to read a fic about Chell really getting to make Wheatley understand how the betrayal hurt her, but I would also like for them to make up in the end. I would love for them to have further adventures but just as much I would like for them to settle down and know peace above-ground. Fish out of water hijinks make me happy with both or either of them.
Star Wars Prequel Trilogy
I like the prequels and nobody can stop me.
Padmé Amidala/Obi-Wan Kenobi
My ideal fill for this prompt would be one of two canon-divergent AUs, though I would be happy to read a missing moment of what could have been that's canon compliant, too. I would prefer no direct infidelity against Anakin before the end of RotS (at which point I think he has effectively dissolved their marriage contraction wouldn't ya say). The first scenario that comes to mind if a fic where Padme and Obi-Wan meet again sometime during the years between TPM and AotC and fall in love and that makes things take a different course. I would love to read sort of courtly and political forbidden love stuff about them on Naboo or running away elsewhere. The other scenario that comes to mind is that Padme somehow survives the mysterious death by Palaptine siphoning off her life force and/or terrible OB-GYN bot care and that she goes to Tatooine with Obi-Wan. Do they keep the kids and raise them together? What happens when they get older? Guilt about the fact that their relationship is technically extramarital is fine, though I feel they should be affirmed in their decision if that's the case.
Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magika | Puella Magi Madoka Magica
I love this series for all its flaws and its strange impact on tone discourse in anime. I am particularly taken with how it feels like a narrative told through a different lens than typical in terms of who gets to the the protagonist and who gets affected by their decisions.
Note: For this fandom in particular, I would prefer that any smut be fade to black after a PG-13 threshold is reached given the characters' canon ages. Shippy themes are encouraged, but they're too young for me to want to read graphic smut with them in it. Thank you!
Miki Sayaka/Sakura Kyouko
I love my little siren-knight and heartbroken-paladin darlings. I would love to read any kind of fic dealing with the fact that they seem to be destined to be drawn to each other but that the meddling in destiny inherent to the narrative has robbed them of what might have been. I would also love to have that fixed, obviously, but either approach is fine. I would be interested in reading a fic that happens after the anime proper where Kyouko just knows that there's something missing but that maybe she has a strange sense of a guardian angel. I would also like to read a fic during one of the other failed timelines where they did get to be together and at peace a little longer. I would also happily read a fic that is set during that time they got to be together in Rebellion, especially before the last 20 minutes. I hate the last 20 minutes of Rebellion, but if you wanna fix fic that feel free. Otherwise I'd prefer to ignore it. Focusing just on the original anime and ignoring Rebellion entirely is also fine with me. Just give me anything, pls.

Whether it is in an AU during the war or after it or whatever you like, I would be interested in a fic where Artoria bends and Gilgamesh breaks as it were. Dark is great but I prefer that it not be even more tragic than Zero already is.
Emiya Kiritsugu/Irisviel von Einzbern
I'm not gonna lie to you: sometimes I absolutely despise Kiritsugu for how he perpetuated his own hypocrisy after the events of Zero. He's easy to hate. And yet, it's hard to hate him completely when one considers how young he was when he entered into his "agreement" with the Einzberns and therefore his "marriage" with Iri. It is also hard to hate him when you see how hard he tried to make that something more than a transactional relationship even though he knew it would burn. I love Irisviel and consider he the least complicit character in Zero. The fact that these two are bound together in marriage and alliance is fascinating and terrible. I kind of love arranged marriage situations resulting in genuine lovers, and I would love anything about the ceremony of it, the awkwardness, the growth of intimacy - before canon - or anything you would want to do during canon.
Illyasviel von Einzbern & Emiya Kiritsugu
I did love the fact that at some point Kiritsugu tried hard enough to be a good father that Illya later missed what she had lost. I would love any other missing scenes from before the War. I would also like any AU you would like to write about Kiritsugu effectively pulling strings to get Illya back. That could be a sort of action-adventure thing if that's up your alley. If you go that route, you could also see my Shirou & Illya prompt above if that floats your boat. If Illya is a little older, it would be cool to see her coming into her own being a tiny little magecraft powerhouse.
Illyasviel von Einzbern & Irisviel von Einzbern
I would love anything pre-canon about their relationship. It is obviously that Irisviel loves her daughter, but we didn't get as much proof of that on-screen simply because it seemed obvious. There is also the air of formality around the Einzbern castle that makes me think that Irisviel might have had a lot of help from the other homonculi in raising Illya, much like royal families make use if nannies, etc. I would like to know what their quiet moments were like. I also find it kind of creepy but fascinating that Irisviel was created a blank slate but was able to very quickly catch up to a young woman's level of conscious expression. However, she does still seem very naive to the point that it feels almost like a teenager having a baby even though she is physically probably ~20. Young, frightened or naive motherhood is a theme I'd be interested in.
Arrow
I am most-familiar with the earlier seasons of Arrow, though I'm generally familiar with the events up to the present. This is partly due to the fact that canon took some directions that I wasn't a big fan of, but I love other aspects of what it did. The main thing is that I keep rewatching the early stuff with the intent to keep going but I just love the early stuff so much for better and worse. I'll never be over the fact that Earth-1 Laurel died as she did. Bitter forever.
Laurel Lance/Tommy Merlyn
As stated above, I'm extremely bitter about Laurel's death. I was also deeply saddened by Tommy's, though at the time it felt like it fit within the plot and didn't seem cheap or to get him out of the way in particular. I would love to read a missing scene during their dating during S1. I would also like a fic that created an AU where Tommy survived either with Laurel and Oliver's knowledge or with a big reveal at some point later down the line in canon in comic book media fashion. I would like a fic where Laurel does eventually get to be Black Canary and doesn't get killed for it. Maybe even one where she and Tommy got to be superheroes together or one where she gets to be the one protecting her gentleman in distress. I like pretty much all the other main cast and any of them are welcome to play a role, or it can just be about these two.
Sara Lance & Oliver Queen
The sparse few scenes they have together after their sad second relationship fell apart in S2 have been very interesting to me, but I have never been given enough of their present dynamic for my liking. When they interact in crossover stuff, I really like the vibe that they really understand each other on a fundamental level even though they have both moved on with their lives. People with a complicated relationship being supportive and loving friends to each other is really important, and I'd just like to see more of that in action either during superhero activities or just during a home visit.
Portal
I've been strangely invested in Portal for a long time. I'm glad to see that there are other people who are too.
Chell & Doug Rattmann
They are allies who never met, and Chell is an unwitting and unwilling Chosen One at Doug's behest. Both of those dynamics are fascinating to me, and I would like seeing either of them explored. I would be interested to know how you think Chell feels about the fact that he both provided guidance to her and sort of doomed her to dealing with things for him just because she was the only one who could. If you did have them meet, that would be awesome, but I would also be interested in any kind of log/graffiti transcription fic you might like to do.
Chell/Wheatley or Chell & Wheatley
I cannot remember exactly when I started sort of shipping it, but I have for years more intensely than I have any right to - and that was all before I read the fic "Blue Sky." I love that fic, so any references to it in your fic are A-okay with me, though I don't require them by any means.
If you go the purely platonic route, then this would be ideal for a fic where Wheatley simply as an AI construct who lives inside that ball. If you go the shippy fic route, I would like for there to be some humanoid aspect to him, even if it isn't a perfect and android and whether he was "originally" a human or whether it is a sort of Pinocchio becomes a real boy type of situation.
I would love to read a fic about Chell really getting to make Wheatley understand how the betrayal hurt her, but I would also like for them to make up in the end. I would love for them to have further adventures but just as much I would like for them to settle down and know peace above-ground. Fish out of water hijinks make me happy with both or either of them.

Padmé Amidala/Obi-Wan Kenobi
My ideal fill for this prompt would be one of two canon-divergent AUs, though I would be happy to read a missing moment of what could have been that's canon compliant, too. I would prefer no direct infidelity against Anakin before the end of RotS (at which point I think he has effectively dissolved their marriage contraction wouldn't ya say). The first scenario that comes to mind if a fic where Padme and Obi-Wan meet again sometime during the years between TPM and AotC and fall in love and that makes things take a different course. I would love to read sort of courtly and political forbidden love stuff about them on Naboo or running away elsewhere. The other scenario that comes to mind is that Padme somehow survives the mysterious death by Palaptine siphoning off her life force and/or terrible OB-GYN bot care and that she goes to Tatooine with Obi-Wan. Do they keep the kids and raise them together? What happens when they get older? Guilt about the fact that their relationship is technically extramarital is fine, though I feel they should be affirmed in their decision if that's the case.
Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magika | Puella Magi Madoka Magica
I love this series for all its flaws and its strange impact on tone discourse in anime. I am particularly taken with how it feels like a narrative told through a different lens than typical in terms of who gets to the the protagonist and who gets affected by their decisions.
Note: For this fandom in particular, I would prefer that any smut be fade to black after a PG-13 threshold is reached given the characters' canon ages. Shippy themes are encouraged, but they're too young for me to want to read graphic smut with them in it. Thank you!
Miki Sayaka/Sakura Kyouko
I love my little siren-knight and heartbroken-paladin darlings. I would love to read any kind of fic dealing with the fact that they seem to be destined to be drawn to each other but that the meddling in destiny inherent to the narrative has robbed them of what might have been. I would also love to have that fixed, obviously, but either approach is fine. I would be interested in reading a fic that happens after the anime proper where Kyouko just knows that there's something missing but that maybe she has a strange sense of a guardian angel. I would also like to read a fic during one of the other failed timelines where they did get to be together and at peace a little longer. I would also happily read a fic that is set during that time they got to be together in Rebellion, especially before the last 20 minutes. I hate the last 20 minutes of Rebellion, but if you wanna fix fic that feel free. Otherwise I'd prefer to ignore it. Focusing just on the original anime and ignoring Rebellion entirely is also fine with me. Just give me anything, pls.
