Dear Yuletide Author,
Thank you for writing something for me! I hope you have a safe and comfortable winter season. I divide my letters into preferences and prompts. The first is to give you a general idea of what I like. The second is to give you something to work with for the specific fandoms/characters requested.
If there is a contradiction between a "preference" and a "prompt," consider the prompt to override the perceived contradiction.
Feel free to include any and all characters from a canon as they serve your story. For one fandom, I have asked for fic that doesn't focus on one particular character due to a heavy presence in the AO3 tag, but she can appear in the fic as is necessary to tell your story.
I enjoy fic of any genre that doesn't contradict a DNW and of any rating. Plot-heavy or small character/fluff/ship pieces are equally appreciated.
General/Non-Sexual

- graphic depictions of extreme bodily injury (unless magically mostly fixed)

Explicit Sexy Stuff
I enjoy fic that includes explorations of characters' sexuality as it is related to their relationship(s). Therefore, I like kink or vanilla or any tone choice to be determined by what would be most fitting for the characters in-context (within the bounds of my DNWs).
That said, I like these specific things if it makes sense for the characters: aliens/circumstances/spells-made-them-do-it if they both would have been attracted to each other at some point and this was a push and the aftermath is treated with some weight, overstimulation/edging that is emotionally charged
I would be interested in any character study or episodic adventure starring Cassie. I am also interested in a fic that might treat her "in her head" scenes as some kind of magical realism and to elaborate on what that means about both Cassie and her world. I remember thinking that there was some kind of commonality between the way those scenes feel and the presentation of superpowers in Yuletide perennial favorite Push, and I realized the female lead in that is named Cassie, too. So, if you wanted to chase that and do a fusion, I would definitely not say no. (I have requested Nick/Cassie fic in the past, and I feel like that could mesh with how messy Cassie herself is.)
I am also interested in her friendship/relationship with Annie and Max. I loved her adventure with Max episode so much and its fallout. I would love to read either Cassie & Annie/Max or Cassie/Annie/Max!
I'm still catching up on S2, so feel free to go with my "references to canonical ships are okay" caveat in my DNWs if the new guy is actually good.
I would also be interested in Cassie/mind!Alex as a sort of extension of "how do those mind scenes even work" above or as some kind of exploration of an externalized Anima/Animus thing.
As mentioned, I don't want Miranda-centric fic because she is the focus of nearly the entire AO3 tag, but she can appear if you have a reason for her to. It isn't character hate.
I adore the Case Files anime and what I've read of the translations of the light novels, though I haven't gotten through all of what's available in English. I love the atmosphere and Waver's character development. I would be interested in things that are about him dealing with investigations and politics or saying to hell with politics and doing the right thing anyway.
Him interacting with any other Type Moon media would also be great.
I would be interested in any fic that involved him having a mentor/mentee, found-family relationship with Gray and the boys.
If you want to write romance of some kind, I am definitely interested in Waver/Iskandar, but I would also happily read these two wild-hair ideas that linger:
- Waver/Luvia as a political marriage that eventually does become some kind of positive relationship
- Waver/Melvin where Melvin is maybe kind of messed up at first (even doing something a bit spooky or counterproductive) but ultimately does genuinely love Waver
Platonic fics about him and the above-mentioned adult characters would also be fun!

I would love to read anything about his adventures in academia written by someone who can write about it better than me. Alternatively, I would like to read about him being a fish-out-of-water after his experiences on the islands and in a world where people keep sweeping things under the rug. Put him in the middle of nowhere without dinosaurs or give him something to accomplish with someone he has to learn to work with. Humble him and let him be heroic. I would love to read about him trying to be a good father in spite of being a pretty shitty romantic partner in the long-term.
If you want to write something about a romantic relationship working out for him, I wold love to read Alan/Ellie/Ian. Alternatively, Sara Harding (from JP2)/Ian was more charming than I remembered! It would be cool for her to meet his friends Alan/Ellie or anyone else from the other movies. I'm especially interested in Ian & Ellie friendship if you want to write platonic-only focus and need an idea. Seeing him meet Tim or Lex as young adults would also be fun since he did the original T-Rex confrontation to protect them!
To be honest, the ending of Jennifer's Body felt like it almost-on-purpose left something to be desired. I want more (dare I say better) world-building for this instead of something that seems like an after-thought to justify the end result.
I would like a fic about Needy's quest for revenge after she has lost both Jennifer and Chip and her coming into contact with some kind of supernatural investigators whom she has confrontations with and who might help her? Something like that.
I would also like any fic where she gets to have Chip back, because I bet that doesn't exist.
Honestly, Jennifer was a terrible friend even before anything happened, but the scene of them making out and the context given makes me want shippy fic. However, if you go with Jennifer/Needy, I want something that requires Jennifer (succubus or zombie or normal girl again) have to become a better person.
The misandry against bad, abusive men is fun, but I don't like it being universal in a way that is narratively lauded, if that makes sense. As I have asked in the prompt on AO3, I don't want anything that bashes Chip. He was trying to be a good boy.
Anything about Okabe and Kurisu would make me happy. I don't mind if both appear in the fic or not, but Okabe/Kurisu is one of the few ships I have trouble separating, though Maho can come too if she wishes!
I would love any fic that is about them finally coming together in spite of their mutual traumas and difficulties. I would like any scene where they're happy and in love in spite of everything that scares them. Whether it's sci-fi or domestic normalcy, I would love it.
I would also love plot-fic that involves the world that would have been if Okabe and Kurisu had never made it to the Time-Leap Machine the night Mayuri was killed. It's horrific but fascinates me, though I would like some kind of not-entirely-hopeless even if it's angsty ending if you go this route.
I am also one of the people who loves Robotics;Notes and if you would like to have them interacting with that cast or even just in their own world at the time that those events are happening, I would love to see what you come up with.
