Dear everywoman author,
Thank you so much for writing something for me! I'm excited to be a part of this exchange, and I look forward to seeing whatever you choose to write! I will include some general likes and dislikes and then some fandom-specific prompts. On the subject of prompt length: for one of the fandoms I chose 'Any Character' which will probably lead to that particular fandom's prompt section of this letter being longer just to cover all the possible characters you might want to write. If we match on or you choose a different fandom, please don't see any length disparity cause by this as a lack of interest! I'm just trying to give similar amounts of detail for each possible character.
I'm comfortable receiving fic of basically any rating. Some of my fandoms involve underage characters and I have no desire to read sexual content above PG-13ish implications with people who are underage. I would be equally happy with shippy or gen/friendship/even enemy-reflection fic. Any combination of requested, eligible, or secondary characters from any of these fandoms are welcome to be included.
Please see my prompts as guidelines, and if you're inspired to write something that isn't directly covered in one of my prompts, feel free to deviate as you wish. I really don't mind as long as it doesn't focus on one of my dislikes.

Characters: (Any Character) Akemi Homura, Kaname Junko, Kaname Madoka, Miki Sayaka, Momoe Nagisa, Sakura Kyouko, Shizuki Hitomi, Tomoe Mami
Prompts:
- Any glimpse at another timeline apart from those featured in the anime; be as creative as you want and include anyone and as few or as many people as you like!
- A slice of life from before Homura became a magical girl during that first month? Her relationship(s), how she sees the word. Did she ever consider another wish before the one she ultimately chose? Seeing one initial place her life could have forked off from would be really interesting.
- Junko seems abnormally-well put together. Also, given the fact hat she knows Madoka's teacher and the two are presented as sort of casual-opposite friends, it just makes me wonder what their past was like. Knowing something about her perspective on what her daughter is going through once events begin to turn would be interesting. What might she do if she discovered Madoka was planning to or already had become a magical girl? What might change for her?
- Madoka's primary motivators are kindness, hope, and compassion. We all know that. But I think we also see a broader range of emotion than even her canon-mates give her credit for. Something that evokes another emotion in Madoka and explores its implications would be great (at any point in her journey). Anger, indifference, bitterness, hurt, jealousy, or even a different positive emotion.
- What if in either the anime timeline or Rebellion Homura managed to tell Madoka the truth about her suspicions before so late into the endgame?
- For Sayaka, I am curious about her relationship with/to her family. They seem to be present in her life but never visible to us. Does this have further implications -- even if they're relatively benign? Her relationship with Hitomi at any point during pre-, post-, or canon would be really intriguing to me.
- If you've read the manga, maybe flesh out was happened after Chapter 9 for Sayaka?
- In Rebellion, Sayaka seems to be an angel or even possibly the archangel for Mado-kami. I am so fascinated by this and its implications. What was her existence like before Rebellion? How well does/did she know Nagisa before going on the Rebellion assignment? How does she feel about her 'true nature' versus the life she is living in Rebellion?
- In Rebellion, how did Sayaka come to apparently take Kyoko in and why? (Especially maybe given the above.)
- Since we mainly meet Nagisa in Rebellion, what is her existence like as one of Mado-kami's angels? Why does she prefer her typical form or is it just part of disguise? Her bond with Mami interests me a lot, especially given past circumstances. I assume she's aware of that, but is she?
- I haven't read The Different Story so if you have just make it accessible to me if you go this route: What was Kyoko's life like between when her family died and the events of the anime? What is she interested in? How exactly does she cope?
- Anything above about Sayaka in Rebellion that's relevant to her from Kyoko's perspective.
- The character juxtaposition between Kyoko and Homura fascinates me a lot. Kyoko is so physical while Homura is very convinced of her own dissociation from her body that it apparently affects everything about her conduct. Something about them at any point during canon or in the space following the anime would be interesting to me - gen or shippy. If it's shippy, I'm interested in hurt/comfort in particular.
- I'm not super interested in shippy fic about them but I could be persuaded, but I'd also love a fic about Kyoko and Mami growing back together as people/friends/whatever you'd like maybe in a canon-divergent thing from Rebellion or in a doomed timeline.
- In Rebellion, something further from Kyoko's perspective during the fallout of Homura realizing whose labyrinth they were inside. We see her reacting to apocalyptic events in a world that she had even until that moment accepted as safe enough to continue doing something ordinary. Then, the next time we see her the imagery is very striking. Something from her POV during that sequence -- what does she do or think and how does she get from one point to another?
- Hitomi's inclusion as an odd-girl-out when it comes to magic is really interesting to me. We also know that she is rich and is being taught to be a very proper society girl. Are the two related? Does she have any inkling what is going on with her friends ultimately? If she does or does not, how does this affect her? Does she have her own, distinct kind of adventures or is she pretty adventure-free barring disaster?
- Mami says that she just acts cool and elegant because it is what is expected of her as a veteran magical girl. Will anything give he the opportunity act the way she really feels in the long-term? Since she is a veteran, does she have any long-term goals?
- How does Nagisa fit into Mami's life, during Rebellion or in some situation following it?
- Something developing Mami's relationship with Homura. Is it necessarily antagonistic? Could they be greater allies in other circumstances? Or are their personalities always going to be oil and water?
- Literally any combination of these characters would make me happy so I think I failed to provide prompts for a couple of possible pairings, but if you have another idea for any of them, go nuts. Shipping preferences are provided below but are not super rigid and gen is good too.

I'm just very interested in the notion of their relative political importance, particularly if they are around one another and Azula doesn't quite realize that Katara is also politically important.
- Something post-canon for either of them. I haven't read the comics, but I plan to -- can be compliant or non-compliant.
- Katara and bloodbending, particularly during a relatively peaceful time. Does she ever find any peace with it whatsoever? If she doesn't, does it have ramifications for her?
- Azula meeting Ty Lee and/or Mai again post-series.
- Something from Azula's childhood either Ty Lee and/or Mai and/or members of her family.
- Childhood Katara doing something with someone in her family.
- Inverse to political captivity, either of them being in political power - together, distinctly, or as opposing ideologues / authority figures

- How did Chell come to be at Aperture in the first place? Canon seems a little bit like it could go several directions, so using that or your own inspiration, tell the tale of how Chell was initially consigned to this fate of fighting a robot intent on killing her?
- Should Chell ever get out and hang out with another human for the first time, how does she deal with it? Does she have a lot of adjustment issues or just a few? Is she alright living on the surface on her own?
- Chell developing an interest that doesn't just involve survival.
- Just a note: Humanized cores or GLaDOS are perfectly alright with me if they're handled to bring about some kind of plot, though I don't particularly care for total and complete dynamic change unless it's needed for a fusion / crossover.
- Reunion fic of some kind: Wheatley, GLaDOS, a human who ought to have been dead? Other.
- Escaped Aperture but now has to be a hero for some other reason.
- Any kind of missing scene about the actual experience of living what the player plays in the games.
Ship: Chell/Wheatley (if you want to go there but it's not at all needed if you put them in a fic together! that goes for all ships but since I'm only listing one I'm disclaiming this)
